Jack Starr is a semi-retired attorney who worked in IP law at Dechert LLP and Kenyon & Kenyon. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry and is Chair of the OLC Finance Council and a Lector. Jack was a fallen-away Catholic who came home to Christ and the Holy Mother the Church at OLC over 10 years ago, and is so happy that the Holy Spirit led him to come home at OLC. Jack views his faith as an anchor, with the Holy Spirit and the Sacraments as “tethers” when he feels adrift. His hobbies include cooking and – as a percussionist who put down the sticks years ago — music, classical and jazz. Fun fact: In 1987, Jack was the drummer in the band at the first Episcopalian rock service at St. Paul’s in Brockton, MA.
